The secretary general of Azimio, Junet Mohammed, seized the opportunity to cast doubt on William Ruto's career as a government employee.
Junet accused vice president William Ruto of appropriating hotel land in Weston and other land belonging to former vice president Joseph Murubi.Who
is the land speculator? Junet paused before the crowd. "Ruto! Ruto!" yelled the throng in response. "Nani mwizi?" Junet paused again. "Ruto!, Ruto!, Ruto!" yelled the audience.
If the Azimio coalition wins the Statehouse election, William Ruto would be probed and prosecuted, according to Junet Mohammed.
Both the Ruto and Raila camps have accused each other of receiving cash. Raila has accused Ruto of impeding the implementation of the Big Four Agenda, while Raila has accused DP Ruto of stealing state funds earmarked for development projects.
