The choice of Mathira member of parliament honourable Rigathi Gachagua as deputy president William Ruto's running mate was received with mixed reactions. Some people are happy because he is a mobilizer and hardworking while others are against it because he some court cases. The biggest backlash came from Azimio la Umoja supporters.
For that reason, lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi has this evening on his official Twitter account given his view about the same. He wrote;
"Mathira MP, Gachagua was an inspired choice as DP RUTO's running mate. How do I know that? Azimio talking points for the past 6 days is all about Gachagua "Gachagua this Gachagua that."
That they have concentrated too much on him instead of continuing with their campaigns. That according to him, he is valued and they know him as a man who is up to the task. That is why they keep discussing about him.
