The former cabinet secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri speaking in a function pointed out that kenyans were not going to allow current governors to extend their term through the BBI. Kiunjuri said that Kenyans were already aware of some tricks the leaders were bound to use.
The outspoken leader proceeded to add that he was not in support of the whole process because he believed there were more crucial things Kenyans were grappling with. He said that BBI was not a priority at the moment and thus there was a need for a lot of effort being directed to it to stop.
He also urged leaders to stop misleading citizens on some things just for them to get elected. He said that as a leader of the the People Service Party, he was going to seriously oversight what the government was doing and that he was not going to allow some leaders to mislead Kenyans.
