The President Elect, Dr William Ruto has outlined the major things he will do in his administration few minutes after he was declared the fifth president of Kenya. Ruto outlined the guidelines during his first tv interview as the fifth president of Kenya.
In the interview, he outlined that in his administration, accountability and democracy will be the main foundations as well keeping the interest of Kenyans at the forefront. He further added that, in his administration, execution of duties will be as mandated by the constitution.
"This is how I will run my government. I am acutely aware of where we are as a country. Therefore, accountability and democracy will be the core pillars in my administration. That is why I made them pertinent to my manifesto. We do not have any luxury of arguments. We intend to hit the ground running and deliver to Kenyans" Ruto outlined.
He also revealed that his administration will give the room for the oppositions to counter check the accounts and balances for the purposes of accountability and transparency.
