A day ago, Peter Munya is one of the top leaders who hosted Raila Odinga in Meru. It is an event that proved fruitful for the unity of the nation because on a rare occasion, Peter Munya agreed to work together with Governor Kiraitu Murungi as they popularize Baba in the region.
Just a day later and Peter Munya has made a move as he stated what Meru residents resolved that they want in future. Through his official twitter account, the famous Agriculture CS stated that the people of Meru has chosen to rally behind Raila Odinga because they want National unity, lasting peace, rapid economic development and a strong social welfare system.
"Meru chooses National Unity, Lasting Peace, Rapid Economic Development and strong social welfare system. Asanteni." Tweeted Peter Munya.
That is a big boost to Raila Odinga who will be hoping that the big crowd will turn into votes in the 2022 general election.
