Wafula Chebukati to face court as Kakamega Gubernatorial candidate protest his latest decision.

Yesterday, Wafula Chebukati postponed Kakamega and Mombasa gubernatorial election for the third time, the Election were to take place in 9th of August but later postponed to 23rd, IEBC chairman has further postponed it to unknown dates making claims that his Officials were tortured wgmhen announcing presidential results.

He said until his team is ready that's when the election process will take place.

This has sent Azimio la umoja candidate fuming and sending this message to Kakamega residents,

Part of the statement read as follows: I speak on behalf of Kakamega County residents when I say how disgusted I am with the IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati's decision to cancel the gubernatorial elections that were supposed to take place the following week.

I want to express my gratitude to our legal team, who worked nonstop to build a strong case against Mr. Chebukati. I have faith that the honourable judges at the Kakamega Law Courts will uphold justice for our people.

I want to encourage our supporters and Kakamega residents in general to continue supporting our cause in order to advance the "Maendeleo Na Usawa" agenda. Our victory can be postponed, but it cannot be denied.

Chebukati should be ready to face Kakamega law courts as claimed by Fernandes Barasa, Kakamega Gubernatorial candidate.
