Simba Arati is the current governor of Kisii County. This is after he had become a member of Parliament in Dagoretti North.
Following the alarming cases of theft in the town of Kisii, The governor has promised anyone who will be able to catch any thief a cash money of ksh 100,000.
The governor in addition told the Kisii public that they should not take a step of killing the suspects after catching them but refer them to the relevant authority instead.
This step is majorly geared towards trying to reduce the cases of theft especially in the bank areas. In his speech, Arati said that most people who transact money from banks are the ones being stolen from easily.
The report state that the thieves use a simple technique after silently following the customers with cars and steal from them . Consequently,Arati sounds a warning to everyone who may fall into that trap and tells them to be ready to face the law.
He tells the youth to seek jobs from him instead of indulging themselves to theft matters.
