Moses Kuria: Next Tme Don't Threaten to Slap, Do It

Amid the ongoing hot debates about Deputy President William Ruto almost slapping President Uhuru Kenyatta when he visited him at the State House back in 2017, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has popped up with an alleged proverb from Nigeria, that talks about slapping instead of just threatening.

According to Moses Kuria, there is a proverb in Nigeria, which advises people to slap and not just issue threats

"Next time don't threaten to slap. Do it" Nigerian Proverb," Kuria said.

Kuria is sharing the said proverb at a time when the country is discussing a leaked audio recording of DP Ruto talking about how he almost slapped his boss.

DP Ruto told his visitors that after the Supreme Court nullified the 2017 Jubilee Party win, he went to the State House to plan the way forward.

However, while at the State House, he was angered when President Uhuru showed indicators of not being willing to contest again in the repeat election.

DP Ruto told Mt Kenya elders that were it not for his respect for the President, he would have slapped him after the President said he was thinking about going back to his village.
