Security, Political logistics are the main reason why they are not living together. Waiguru's taste on households equipments is totally different from her husband's. They don't know how to choose whose furnitures would stay in the living room and whose will not if they choose to stay in the same house.

Waiguru loves his house and she can't move from it because she feels very safe in her house than any other place. Also, Waiganjo can't move into her house as according to Kikuyu Culture. Waiganjo likes Waiguru living in Kitisuru than in Runda because he feels it's much safer for her there.
