Ruto Faces a Hard Time as Chaos Erupt in Busia After Angry Youth Barricade Roads

The deputy president, William Ruto, is currently in Western Kenya where he is drumming support for his presidential bid. The second in command is also wooing the people to join UDA party ahead of the 2022 polls.

However, a dramatic scene unfolded after angry youth blocked roads making it hard for Ruto's convoy to move. This caused confusion and with no time, chaos erupted after another group emerged. The group was demanding to clear the roads.

This complicated the movement of Ruto and the security organs managed to clear the mess. After sometime, the motorcade managed to move and Ruto proceeded with the rest of his tour.

This being a campaign season, such incidences are prone to happen especially when a politician invades an area where their opponent command a bigger following. It is not the first time that Ruto's event is faced with chaos.

In his earlier visit in Nambale, Ruto drummed support for the bottom up economic model which he intends to use once elected to the top office. He also declared that he's ready to face his opponents.
