Nandi Hills Member of Parliament Hon Alfred Keter Kiptoo Keter will fly the United Democratic Alliance Party flag in the forthcoming general elections. This is after clinching the ticket in the yesterday's nominations.
The supporters of Keter could not help celebrate his victory late in the night. The vocal legislator will be contesting for the same seat for the third term. Bernard Kibor Kitur held the second position in the race.
Last week when Kapsaret Member of Parliament Hon Oscar Sudi and his Kiminini counterpart Didmus Barasa attended the burial ceremony of the late UDA aspirant, Wesley Kogo they fronted Kitur as Hon Keter's 'successor'.
Kitur is not a newcomer to the political arena, in the 2017 general elections he unsuccessfully contested for the same seat. He later moved to court to challenge Keter's victory but the Supreme Court upheld it.
