Senior counsel lawyer Ahmednassir Abdullahi has challenged the management of Kenya's Daily Newspaper after African National Congress party leader questioned their professionalism following a rogue headline castigating DP Ruto.
In a tweet on Saturday night, the city lawyer argued that a leader of Mudavadi's calibre cannot just question question the intergrity of an entity without proofs. He challenged the editors in collaboration with the management to come forward and answer the issues Mudavadi raised.
" a leader of the STATURE and STANDING of Hon @MusaliaMudavadi questions the INTEGRITY and PROFESSIONAL ETHICS of the @dailynation it is incumbent upon the editors @mutuma_mathiu and the management to answer the issues he raises IMMEDIATELY and TRUTHFULLY,"Abdullahi stated.
Ealier while reacting to a Daily Nation Publication saying Talai elders had allegedly disowned deputy president Dr William Samoei Ruto as their Kingpin, Mudavadi told off Daily Nation accusing them of giving fake news to the public.
Mudavadi further accused the newspaper of pushing somebody's narrative perhaps to paralyze the second in command politically. He questioned their professionalism after they distorted the reality in DP's case.
"@dailynation is this what you call professional journalism? Your headline is a distortion of the reality. Who's narrative are you pushing? Fake News! Mudavadi ealier blasted Daily Nation Newspaper publication.
The Daily Nations claims comes just days after the deputy president met with Talai elders who installed him as RiftValley Kingpin something which has triggered mixed reactions among politicians with some accusing Ruto of allegedly involving himself in witchcraft.
The witchraft allegations against the DP was however rubbished after details emerged that the ceremony was conducted by Anglican Bishop.
