Fresh details have emerged in the ongoing probe by the Tribunal investigating the Independent Electoral And Boundaries Commissioner Irene Masit as the Hotel manager at Yaya Hotel gave his testimony.
According to Citizen Television, the Hotel Manager has told the tribunal that the Four dissenting Independent Electoral And Boundaries Commissioners booked in their Hotel on the 15th of August 2022 at night and checked out on the 19th of August in the afternoon.
The tribunal has analyzed the CCTV footage that was presented before the committee, where commissioner Massit was seen entering a lift from the basement with the aid of the hotel's chief of security.
The Manager went ahead to give the details of the rooms they occupied and revealed that in their stay in the hotel, the four Independent Electoral And Boundaries Commissioners were visited by different guests including the Former Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju and the then secretary Nick Salat.
"Hon Tuju was seen in the visitor's record and vehicle movements logs," The Hotel Manager said.
