Next Ruto, Musalia, Wetangula and Kabogo Joint Tours Disclosed as DP Calls for UDA Meeting in Karen

The shift of ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi into DP Ruto's political camp now complicates the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s vote hunt in the Western region. This region has now turned into a hot battleground. The move by Mudavadi and Wetangula to work with UDA now increases chances of DP Ruto to getting a larger percentage of the 2.2 million Western votes in the August General Election.

In the past three General Elections (2007, 2013 and 2017), the ODM leader Raila Amolo Odinga has been the major beneficiary of the Western Kenya votes. The ODM leader has been profiting from the backing of the ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford-K leader Moses Wetangula.

Immediately after the Amani National Congress' National Delegates Conference at Bomas, the Deputy President William has now called for a UDA meeting in his Karen home today to formalise working relationship with the ANC party.

According to the Daily Nation, the Deputy President William Ruto has also announced the next mega rallies. According to details, UDA has planned joint rallies with the ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetang’ula as well as the Tujibebe party boss William Kabogo. The rallies will begin in Nakuru on Wednesday this week where they will then proceed to Western Kenya on Friday. Additionally the team will also hold the joint rally in Mt Kenya on Saturday.

According to details, this move by Mudavadi and Wetangula has complicated the political arithmetics for Azimio in Nyanza as well as Western.
