But according to UDA Chairman Johnson Muthama, such polls are fake, being peddled around to shape a defeatist narrative about the Deputy. Muthama has vehemently claimed that Ruto commands 65 per cent of votes across the country, with an exception of Nyanza region ( where he has cited Migori County)
Muthama's argument is attributed to the fact that the latest poll by the Star reveals that Ruto would beat the ODM leader in all the former eight provinces except Nyanza. See the poll below;
