Former Vice President Moody Awour has re-emerged after rumors went round the internet concerning the state of his health.
The former late President Kibaki's vice appeared on Wednesday for the first time in a while looking very jovial and full of health.
Among those who visited the former vice president at his Lavington home in Nairobi is COTU Secretary General Francis Atwli, former Senator Amos Wako, and Fred Gumo among others
This comes just a week after word went round speculating on the health of the former president. Many sources had claimed that Awori was dead, reports that were later rubbished by the family who said the former vice was alive and in good health.
Several local blogs sensationally tweeted about his ‘death’ and even went as far as publishing stories on the same.
Several tweets were posted with many online users sending condolence messages amidst massive confusion as there was no official communication from family or close relatives to Uncle Moody.
At around 11:00 P.M on Tuesday last week, however, it emerged the rumors were not true after credible sources close to the family refuted the reports.
