Sunday is always a busy day for Deputy President William Ruto. Today, he joined the Ol Kalou Town believers in worshiping after which he met with the residents. The Deputy President articulated the infrastructure which the government has put in place to help the people have an easy access to the services. The developments which the government has done seems to be on Ruto’s fingertips as he talks about them in length. Nyandarua County is one of the Mount Kenya counties which are warming up to Deputy President’s leadership and he is surely the darling of most of the residents if not all.
The moment his entourage entered the Ol Kalou town, crowds started building up and in minutes it was like a planned rally. As usual, the Deputy President had to come out of his car and greet the residents who were all smiles at seeing this very energetic politician.
The Deputy President has been on development and empowerment tours across the country where he has been presiding over fundraisers for the youths and different groups. He has not made his stand on the Building Bridges Initiative bill which is now in the county assemblies. Before it was launched, he had told who were supporting it to seek for consensus instead of taking it for a vote a move which would cost the country a lot of money.
