Kakamega: Raila's Man Shines In Gubernatorial Debate As Malala, Jirongo No Where To Be Seen

During a Kakamega county gunernatorial race debate held at the Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, Raila's pointman in the contest Fernandez Barasa has stolen show in what he will do in the first 100 days in office if elected.

Barasa said that he will first restructure the budget so that he can be able to take care of new plug ins. Barasa also said that he will use his network to increase the sources of income for the county besides the Ksh.9 billion that the county receives from the government exchequer.

In the debate that was attended by hundreds of residents of Kakamega, Kenya Kwanza candidate Cleophas Malala and Cyrus Jirongo were nowhere to be seen.

Among the aspirants who made it to the debate include Major Retired Suleiman Sumba ( KANU), Michael Osundwa ( independent candidate) and Samuel Omukoko.

The incumbent, Wycliffe Oparanya, drums up support for the former Ketraco boss Fernandez Barasa whose running-mate is Ayub Savula.
