Chebukati has come out to defend IEBC as well Kenya Kwanza after they were accused of colluding to steal the August 9th polls against Raila Odinga. According to Chebukati, IEBC is an independent body and it doesn't receive orders or instructions from Kenya Kwanza or anybody whatsoever.

Chebukati is clear, the claims that they have colluded to take away Raila's win come August 9th polls is overly misplaced. He is clear the commission will conduct free transparent and fair elections that will be seen to be so.
Chebukati is clear what Raila Odinga has been spreading is propaganda to poison the minds of Kenyans. He is clear, the August 9th polls will without a doubt be free and fair despite efforts by a section of leaders to cause trouble.
Chebukati wants Raila Odinga to stop causing tension in the country with his utterances rather give the commission time to conduct a free and fair contest. He is clear that at the moment, he is yet to see anything that would stop the commission from holding free and fair elections.
