Mombasa governor Hon. Ali Hasan Joho has denied the claims and allegations that they no longer read from the same script with his party leader Hon. Raila Odinga, Joho said that his respect for Raila is the same as before, he added that they enjoy a very mutual and respectful relationship with Raila.
However, Governor Joho revealed that the only place they sail in different directions is when democracy is at work, for instance he has decided to battle out the ODM 2022 presidential ticket with his boss, he says this doesn't mean they are no longer in good terms.
Governor Joho who is also the deputy party leader of ODM Maintained that he still subscribes to the manifestos and agenda of their party.
Since Joho announced his interest to fly the ODM ticket in the coming presidential general elections, many have viewed it as an antagonism in the party and that it's a matter of time for the final fallout, however, Governor Joho already dismissed plans to form a coastal Political a party being fronted by his counterparts from the region, he urged the Coastal people to stay in ODM as he will be vying for the presidency on it's ticket.
