4 Demands By Ruto To Raila During His Planned Demonstrations On Monday

The planned demonstrations by Raila Amollo Odinga on monday has opened a new conversation in the political arena. The fifth president of Kenya William Samoei Arap Ruto has responded to him claiming that he must ensure that the demonstrations are peaceful as promised by the Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance coalation.

First, Ruto has urged Raila to meet with police officers and give them the program of how the peaceful demonstrations will be carried. He was clear that he will not allow disruption of normal running of the country.

The second thing is that Raila must facilitate secure travel of people from their homes to their places of work without fail. This will ensure that kenyans will carry out their activities as planned.

The third thing Raila Amollo Odinga must ensure that property is protected and businesses are not looted during the demonstration period. This is to enhance continuity of business to support economic growth in the country which is recovering from the effects of corona virus.

The forth thing Raila must do is to ensure that lives are protected and no blood is shed during demonstrations. Ruto has revealed that action will be taken incase anyone loses their life in the process of countrywide demonstrations.
