As August polls draws nigh, it is evident that the outgoing Head of State will not live his 2013 promise. Uhuru Kenyatta had agreed to pass the power baton to his deputy upon completion of his two-five year tenure.
Jomo's son has instead fronted ODM leader to be his heir but his game plan to actualize his course recently faced a major setback after ANC leader joined William Ruto's camp.
Uhuru was of a conviction that a united opposition will give the self-declared chief hustler a run for his resources but a disunited one will give Samoei a political lifeline.
Addressing Western Kenya leaders on Tuesday at Statehouse, Uhuru registered his disappointment citing that MaDvd has unknowingly signed his political death by choosing Ruto over Raila. According to Kenyatta II, Mudavadi was to be safe on the latter's hands than on Ruto's.
More notably Uhuru promised to persuade Mudavadi to reconsider his support for DP Ruto. Should he succeed to convince MaDvd and eventually get him to Raila's Azimio La Umoja, then Samoei's goose will be cooked and served whilst steaming hot.
