Ngunjiri Wambugu Breaks Silence and Mocks Mudavadi After the Earthquake Event

Vocal Nyeri Town Member of Parliament and handshake staunch supporter Ngunjiri Wambugu has finally broken his silence over the highly charged 'Earthquake' declaration event hosted by the Amani National Congress(ANC) party at the Bomas of Kenya on Sunday. The event led by ANC's party leader Musalia Mudavadi brought together politicians from various parties who have openly dismissed the Uhuru-Raila handshake team.

There was a sudden change of events when Deputy President William Ruto and his United Democratic Alliance(UDA)allies arrived forcing KANU's Gideon Moi, Wiper's Kalonzi Musyoka and Jimmi Wanjigi to leave the event. The arrival of William Ruto seems to have satisfied the others as it confirmed the claims that Musalia is plotting to secretly merge forces with Ruto.

The allegations were later ascertained when Mudavadi ruled out working with the handshake team in preparations for the approaching general elections. In his statement, Mudavadi approved Ruto's will.

On his part, William Ruto formally declared a new political association with Mudavadi and FORD-Kenya's Moses Wetangula and gave a clear roadmap of how the trio will work together for unity.

Taking to his Facebook page, Ngunjiri Wambugu mocked Mudavadi claiming that the massive event only served as a political suicide even though Mudavadi would have played a key role in the country's political arena after the general elections.

"And just like that, we have just watched one of Kenya's most potentially critical post-2022 national leaders commit political suicide ontelevision. #SAD," Ngunjiri Wambugu wrote on Facebook.
