After the church service, the deputy president is alleged to have travelled to Naivasha where he hold meeting with elected leaders from the larger western region.

While taking to his account, his closest ally, Dennis Itumbi stated that the DP has started the economic engagement with the alleged leaders where an engagement schedule will be crafted.

These meetings are part of his effort to encroach regions perceived to be his opponents strongholds. He had earlier succeeded in Mt.Kenya where he was abled to convince the residents to vote for his candidate during the kiambaa by-elections.
