The day that Kenya's general elections were held has now passed for two days. Kenyans turned out to vote for the leaders running for a variety of elective positions in the government, including the President to the Members of the County Assembly. After the IEBC finished counting the votes, some of the leaders received their results and were proclaimed the winners.
Some of top political leaders from Azimio and Kenya kwanza are at the Bomas of Kenya witnessing final tallying of votes. According to Azimio One Kenya Spokesperson, Professor, Makau Mutua who is a close ally to Raila Odinga, has break his silence as final tallying of votes casted continues.
Mutua has allegedly stated that he's trying his best to ensure that the election results will be free and fair because he's really working hard to ensure all votes are at per the requirement of Iebc. He has urged all supporters from Azimio One Kenya to remain calm and be optimistic during this period of vote tallying as they await the final results to be released anytime by IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati.
"Some people wonder why the Azimio Spokesperson isn’t talking. Be assured he’s working hard. When he has something to say, he will do so. In the meantime, let’s all watch, follow, and verify what’s happening," he tweeted.
