President Ruto Says That CDF for MPs Will Continue to Exist in His Government

Today, Wednesday 7th of September Ruto had aa meeting with Kenya Kwanza leaders whete he told them that the National Constituency Development Fund will remain a tool (NG-CDF) wont be eliminated. He said that the CDF for the MPs will remain a tool.

The incoming president said that CDF money is very crucial and that the money changes alot.He reflected on when he was a member of Parliament and said that the money was adopted it has a changed alot.

"We recognize the law that was challenged is outdated. "I am aware that we adhere to the rule of law, but the legislation that was challenged in court is dated. The statute that now serves as the foundation for CDF is not it."Ruto said.

It is not true to claim that the Fund has been dissolved, given that the said Fund has been operating under the new NG-CDF Act of 2015 as of February 19, 2016. It is important to support this fund's continued operation because it has significantly helped in the nation's development. CDF fund has helped bring up numerous new schools which have been built closer to the community, and the NG-CDF Bursary has enabled many less fortunate kids to attend school.

Through the new administration and secure infrastructure the country wide national security has been enhanced all thanks to the CDF fund.
