His remarks elicited mixed reactions with some echoing his sentiments. On Ruto’s candidature, the governor revealed that the writing is on the wall that he will be trounced by the ODM leader whose quest has continued to gain popularity in the region.
His remarks were echoed by the leaders present who openly endorse a Raila Odinga candidature on grounds that it was the best for the region. They said that the region will not vote for a person who does not have their interest at heart. Raila has continued to tour the region in recent days to solidify his bid.
