The Somali Information Minister has blamed Kenya for furnishing and helping what he called a revolutionary group.
"The Federal Government of Somalia announces that the Kenyan-supported agitators that crossed the boundary into Somalia around evening time has ambushed Gedo Region, especially Belet Xaawo District. The Somali National Army (SNA) fearlessly retaliated the illicit coordinated attack.
We emphatically denounce this hostility in Kenya which abuses the interests of quiet concurrence of the individuals of the State and global standards of regard and security of public power," said Osman Abokor Dubbe, Somali Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism.
This comes two months after Somalia reviewed its minister to Kenya Mohamud Ahmed Nur and sent away Kenya's diplomat to Somalia Mr Lucas Tumbo "for further discussions".
