The youngest ever MP to be elected to Parliament, John Paul Mwirigi, has ditched President Uhuru Kenyatta for Deputy President William Ruto' s Tanga Tanga.
John Paul Mwirigi who was elected as an Independent to represent Igembe South constituency, was among the legislators who had accompanied Deputy President William Ruto in his tour of Isiolo this Saturday.
Taking his turn to speak to the crowd in Isiolo, Mwirigi reminded his friend the president who bought him his first car about the promises he had made to the people of Kenya.
" In 2017, the president in his own words said he would serve his 10 years and then Ruto would serve his 10 years. As a respected leader, he should honour his words. I don' t see any reason why this debt should not be honoured, " John Paul said.
He then praised the deputy president saying that if there is any leader who has stood with the youth of this country and supported them to secure their finances, it is William Ruto.
" Some people are looking at our youths who are doing menial job and are calling them takataka. We cannot agree with such a leader. We have our own leader who values the hustlers of this nation, " Mwirigi said.
President Uhuru Kenyatta bought a brand new car to John Paul Mwirigi, the 27 year old Igembe South MP.
The President had promised to buy the Independent MP a car soon after the Igembe South MP was elected on August 8 2017.
Mwirigi traversed the constituency on foot during the campaign and was able to capture the seat victoriously.
The MP, an undergraduate student of Education at Mount Kenya University, got 76 per cent of the votes cast. He succeeded Mithika Linturi, who is now the Meru senator.
John Paul Mwirigi joined the Tanga Tanga movement and has been supporting the Deputy President at his bid for the 2022 presidential general election.

02-14 20:20:26so you as a young man, you are convinced that it's in order for two people to go sit somewhere and dicide to share presidency between themselves for the next twenty years, and this is a country of 50 million Kenyans and with 43 communities? are you hearing yourself or you're justifying sycophancy.
