Orengo Sends An Urgent Message To Uhuru's Gov't Concerning Harassment on Kenyan Fishermen in Lake Victoria

Siaya County Senator Honerable James Orengo has sent an urgent message to president Kenyatta government concerning the state of Kisumu Residents oparating in lake Victoria. According to the legislator, Kenyans are being killed by Ugandan solders while fishing in the lake. Something that has continued for long without government of Kenya intervention. Some are arrested and detained without trial by Ugandan officers. He has asked the president to address the issue urgently for the betterment of those doing business around those regions.

"The constant harassment & capture of Kenyan fishermen who go about their normal & lawful fishing in Lake Victoria by alleged Ugandan Authorities should be dealt with by the government. It's unfortunate to lose our young men who are seeking to make ends meet & feed their families." Posted Siaya County Senator Honerable James Orengo.

Here are some reactions.

"Museveni love killing and when it is on Jaluo he will not hesitate to kill b'ce they are his threat. That is why he has tried very hard 3 time to make Raila not to become president and preparing for the fourth time with Ruto now. Ruto and Museveni arming militias for takeover." Posted David.

"Was actually wondering when the plight of our people being harassed, arrested arbitrary and sometimes killed by foreign security forces will be addressed. Kudos for voicing this grave concern, it's now time to take action."posted Debra.

"Why hasn’t that matter been honestly discussed and concluded? And can Uganda, lay a legitimate claim on any part of our country. If so is that a question to be kept under a bushel by anyone? All Ugandan aggression on our people and or any part of Kenya is abhorrent and dumb" posted David
