President Uhuru Kenyatta has today signed a total of five bills making them a law. The president assented the following bills. The Bills are, the Public Private Partnership Bill, the Central Bank of Kenya amendment Bill, the Trustees Amendment Bills and the Deposit Insurance Amendment Bill.
He signed the bills today 12/7/2021 at State House. The members present when the president assented the Bills were; The National Assembly Speaker Hon. Justin Muturi, the Senate Speaker Hon. Ken Lusaka, the Treasury Cabinet Secretary Hon. Ukur Yatani and the Head of the Public Service Dr. Joseph Kinyua.
The people who also attended were the Majority Leader of the National Assembly Hon Amos Kimunya, State House Deputy Chief of Staff Njee Muturi and the Solicitor General Ken Ogeto.
When the president assents any bill it automatically becomes a law. Kenyan Citizens are required to follow the new laws that the president has today put in place.
