Many politicians are optimistic about being elected in August election that is just about three months away. The Government has already mapped out the volatile areas where wars can erupt. On his side, President Kenyatta has maintained that his aim is to leave behind a united country instead of a divided one.For this reason,he has chosen Raila Odinga instead of his deputy whom he has sharply differed with especially in their second term.
However, the Azimio journey in Ukambani region may be rocky.Kalonzo Musyoka has ditched the Azimio La Umoja after feeling disgruntled by the choice of the running mate. The team has settled on Martha Karua instead of Kalonzo Musyoka.
This has now seen Kalonzo announce his presidential bid with Sunkuli as his running mate. However, one thing has now emerged which is further confusing as to whether Kalonzo was already prepared to quit Azimio. It has emerged through IEBC that Kalonzo submitted his bid to the electoral body ten days ago.
