Principal government officials
The government has been informed that some sections of the country will soon begin demonstrating against the current administration.
Ndegwa Njiru, a constitutional lawyer, has warned the government that regional protests are imminent.
According to him, the region surrounding Mount Kenya will be the first to rise against the government.
The attorney posted his opinion on social media and warned Vice President Rigathi Gachagua to be cautious.
"Mount Kenya will be the first to rebel against his regime, na KUSADIKIKA, put DO @rigathi on WARNING," he tweeted.
Nevertheless, the lawyer, who is also from Mt. Kenya, could not explain why he believes that Mt. Kenya will initiate the revolution and not other regions, such as Nyanza, which has been at the forefront of protests against the current government.
Raila Odinga, head of the ODM, has already given the government a 14-day ultimatum before revealing his mass action plan.
He wants the government to reduce the price of essential items within 14 days, or else he will mobilize Azimio's supporters.
