The race to succed the incumbent president Uhuru Mwigai Kenyatta is expected to raise dust in the political arena as the clock towards 2022 polls continue to tickle now less than 320 days remaining to the polls day.
Among the front runners of the presidential race is deputy president William Samoei Ruto and declared his candidature in 2013 and since 2017 he has now shifted his attention to martial up votes in the country by offering promises as he has always done before.
To clinch the presidential seat, one has to choose a presidential running mate who has massive following and influence among the electorate and for William Ruto his running mate may be limited to the Kikuyu leaders because they are most popularous tribe with 40% of voters in Kenya.
By opinion, Ruto has several options to chose from and may go for national assembly speaker Justin Muturi for the position, Muturi recently locked up horns with Jupilee party for kicking out Ruto allies from influential leadership positions in the two legislation houses, Muturi may team up with Ruto for the election ticket.
