The Central Organization and Traders Union (COTU) is a union that champions for the welfare of all workers in the country such as better wages and conducive working conditions.
COTU is under the leadership of Francis Atwoli who serves as the secretary general of the union. Atwoli has today urged One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principals namely Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wetangula, Gideon Moi and Musalia Mudavadi to support Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga for the presidential bid.
OKA is a coalition that has enjoined together Amani National Congress (ANC) of Mudavadi, Ford Kenya of Moses Wetangula, Wiper party of Kalonzo Musyoka and KANU of Gideon Moi.
In conclusion, the presidential seat has attracted a good number of candidates who have already declared their interest in vying for the top seat to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta who will retire from active politics come August next year. What's your take on this matter, do you support Atwoli's remarks?
