The new Kenya Kwanza Alliance coalition government under the leadership of the head of state Hon President William Samoei Ruto has delivered some good news to Kenyans days after ushering in the new year.

According to news broadcasted by a verifiable source, Ruto's government under the ministry of Agriculture has indicated that the government is on a mission to lower the cost of Unga (Flour) and rice by the end of next month (February).
Confirming the good news, Agriculture Cabinet Secretary (CS) Mithika Linturi indicated that the government is set to import maize and rice into the country in bid to help lower the cost of the prescious commodities.
He also confirmed that the initiative will be just a short term mitigation measure as they (Government) plan to grow maize across the country in the upcoming six months.
"And I want to commit, by the end of February, the cost of Unga and Rice will have come down" Linturi said.
