Mudavadi Cries Foul Over Alleged Government's Hand In Raila's Bid, Alleges Plans Against OKA

Amani National Congress party leader through his Spokesperson Kibisu Kabatesi has raised concerns over alleged government's hands in Raila's 2022 presidential bid. He has accused the national government of financing Raila's activities across the country especially the Mount Kenya region.

Kabatesi further accused the state operative of hatching a scheme against their newly formed One Kenya Alliance, he argued that the state is out to frustrate the ambitions of OKA Principals with an aim of forcing them to support Raila's candidature.

"It is now obvious he (Raila) has acquired State largesse that conditions him to spend it in Mt Kenya. How that will translate into Mt Kenya vote is not clear. For Ruto, he still enjoys all the stipends allocated to the DP's office and lacks for nothing," he was quoted.

This comes amid Intensified succession politics with OKA's main competitors Raila and Ruto continue intensifying their campaigns across the country, Raila is currently enjoying the support of a number of governors and cabinet secretaries.
