Passaris still ahead of Millicent Omanga in Women Rep race - TIFA"/>
Nairobi county women's representative Esther Passaris was in Germany celebrating her 58th birthday. What made many laugh was the politician's move to take a picture near the statue of a man who was naked and said that he wanted to take those memories to learn from the statue about the history of the members who failed to capture the leader of Germany during the colonial era, Adolf Hitler.
"I opted to spend a few days in Berlin after the World Health Summit to capture the essence of this beautiful city, to rest and to reflect as I turn 58 today. Opposite my hotel is the German Resistance Memorial Centre. It was here that members of the failed 20 July plot that attempted to assassinate Adolf Hitler were executed. #Gratitude#HappyMashujaaDay."
This is not the first time for female politicians from the African continent to take pictures next to such statues. A few months ago, an activist who is also a major critic of the Ugandan government, Stella Nyanzi uploaded several photos while in the city of Vienna, Austria where she also took a photo next to a statue of a naked man and said that she intended to learn how the human body is made.
