President Uhuru Kenyatta has announced that Kenyans should take the current Opportunity during his presidency to ensure that peace and harmony prevail all the time even as the 2022 general election draws nearer, by ensuring that anything that triggers bloodshed has been thwarted.
Speaking during an exclusive interview with Citizen Tv's Jeff Koinange on Wednesday night, the head of state has vowed to ensure that his administration will do everything possible to reject the recent ICJ Ruling where Somalia was favored.
President Uhuru Kenyatta: “Kenya should be able to take advantage of this month of our presidency to continue to pursue the African agenda & diaspora agenda & also help us to resolve issues that affect our continent, issues like climate change.
In regards to the upcoming 2022 general election that has continued to gain momentum in the recent days, President Uhuru Kenyatta has for the first delivered opens signs of letting the will of the people prevail by announcing that Kenya is a democratic nation where citizens are allowed to elect their leaders without being forced to do so.
But responding to his message, Kenyans on the internet have appeared in big numbers to express their mixed reactions. While some have agreed with Uhuru's message that he has no moral authority and capability to influence the election outcome, others have accused the head of the stage of misplaced priorities.
