Raila Odinga is the man to be worried after reports of a looming grand coalition between two prominent leaders is said to be on the making.
According to a publication from The Star, two politicians who have not been seeing themselves eye-to-eye for sometime, are expected to sit down and have a discussion which will lead to one relinquishing his presidential ambitions for the other.
These politicians believe that their coalition will have great power to counteract the effect of Raila Odinga in Kenyan politics. Those aware of the machinations say one of the bigwigs is about to yield to pressure amid assurances that their ticket would be formidable.
A very vocal political figure who hails from Western Kenya, was overheard telling his friends about the great coalition. Though he never gave out much details, he assured them that the deal was close to being finalized and it was just a matter of days before it becomes official.
