After the announcement of Kamukunji, former secretary of the Department of Administration Eugene Wamalwa has revealed the specifics of his upcoming audacious proposal. Along with other Azimio leaders like Babu Owino, Kalonzo Musyoka, and Martha Karua, Raila Odinga declared today that they would continue to struggle against the Kwanza administration of Kenya. Raila stated his goal is to see Kenyans live better lives while addressing irate Kenyans in Kamukunji Square.

Eugene Wamalwa, one of the organizers, said: "We had the first consultative meeting with Azimio leaders in the storied Kamukunji square in accordance with Article 10 of the Kenyan Constitution on public engagement. We shall host additional forums to uphold the constitution and provide Kenyans the freedom to exercise their sovereign authority over a variety of issues."
