This is mainly due to the fact that many have now used the outcome of the by-election to conclude that Uhuru is begining to loose hold of his vote rich region ahead of the 2022 elections.
Speaking to the Standard, the COTU Boss has warned Kenyans not to conclude that Uhuru is not popular in the country due to the defeat in the two by-elections.
According to Atwoli, Uhuru's advisors should also be spared from any blame because Uhuru either listens or ignores an advise given to him.
Atwoli has further warned those celebrating the lose telling them that it is still to early to celebrate.
On the lose, Atwoli has blamed Kiambu Governor Nyoro whom Atwoli has accused of failing to involve the local leaders hence leading to a humiliating defeat in the by-elections.
