Azimio- One Kenya coalition has suffered yet another political blow as political party of registrar Ann Nderitu reveals why it won't produce the majority leader despite having majority of elected Members of Parliament and woman representative in the National Assembly.
In talk with source, Nation today, Ann Nderitu explains that despite enjoying the majority, Azimio will not produce the leader Of majority in the National Assembly because of recent numbers of defections from the camp to President William Ruto Kenya Kwanza side.
The blows comes just a day after Azimio- One Kenya coalition leaders led by Raila Odinga and Martha Karua while in a parliamentary group meeting at Athi River, Machakos County insisted they are the majority in the National Assembly.
Speaking during the meeting, Deputy leader Martha Karua said Azimio deserve to have both Leader of Majority and Majority whip in the National Assembly for they enjoy the majority.
"We are the largest party in the parliament, we deserve to have the majority leader and whip position. You need to work together as a team becauseif you are not united, you will be made mincemeat." Martha Karua said.
Numbers on who is the majority in the National Assembly will be determined by speaker during the next sitting with President William Ruto camp already received UDM of Senator Ali Roba and Ugenya MP David Ochieng just to mentionba few.
