BREAKING: President Ruto Suspends Four IEBC Commissioners

After the Justice and Legal Affairs Committee presented its findings to the National Assembly today, Citizen TV's Linus Kaikai broke bad news to the "Cherera four" commissioners. In its findings, the JLAC calls for the dismissal of the IEBC Vice Chair Juliana Cherera, Justus Nyangaya, Irene Marsit, and Francis Wanderi.

The Kenya Kwanza Alliance camp is anticipated to lobby for the adoption of the JLAC report in an effort to compel President William Ruto to convene a tribunal to try the four IEBC Commissioners who are currently under fire. While speaking on the News Gang program, Linus Kaikai said that once President Ruto appoints a tribunal, the Cherera led Commissioners stand suspended and are unable to conduct business on behalf of the IEBC.

"The commissioners are suspended and unable to do business on behalf of the IEBC as soon as the President names the tribunal. It essentially signals the beginning of the Cherera Four's demise "Statement made by Linus Kaikai.

Linus Kaikai has disclosed that once President Ruto establishes a tribunal to look into the IEBC Commissioners, their future will be in jeopardy. As they stand before the tribunal and await the decision, it will be the Cherera four's final act.

President Ruto now suspends IEBC commissioners paving way for probe into their conduct by 8-member tribunal.
