Jonathan Mueke who has in recent days been seen to accompany Ruto in all his engagement has today reaffirmed his bid for the 2022 seat as the governor for Kitui. He was speaking in Makueni on Tuesday Morning after accompanying the deputy president who is on a vote-haunting mission of the region.

Mueke who was floored in 2017 as the deputy of the then Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero is seeking to get the party ticket from UDA to compete in the race which is likely to be a fierce battle between Charity Ngilu and him in 2022.
So far he has made impressive submissions in his bid to become the next governor of the region under the UDA party.
