Ichung'wah Causes a Stir Online as He Reacts to Waiguru's Hint of defending Her Seat on UDA Ticket

Kirinyaga County Governor Anne Waiguru has today triggered debates across the political divide after hinting at defending her gubernatorial seat on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket in 2022.

"I said I will do what the people of Kirinyaga tell me to... If I come under UDA will you re elect me as your governor?I have asked the people of Kirinyaga and they have agreed," Waiguru said.

Various politicians have reacted to the hint by Governor Waiguru with many stuck in a dilemma of whether UDA will have Waiguru as its flagbearer or Women Representative Wangui Ngirici.

Kikuyu Constituency Member of Parliament Hon Kimani Ichung'wah has caused a stir online after his reaction to the hint by Waiguru stating that the voice of the people is supreme and will prevail.

"Vox Populi, Vox Dei Anne Waiguru. The voice of the people is the voice of God," Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung'wah said.
