Why Uhuru's Succession plan is in Jeopardy

Cracks within the ruling party steming from the long differences between the president and his deputy has lead to the president and his state house close affiliates looking elsewhere. Atleast 5 bigwigs have been identified as potential figures and this seems to trigger dangerous war.

Among those fronted is Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga President's handshake partner, former vice president Kalonzo Musyoka, ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi,Gideon Moi, Interior CS Fred Matiangi

In the Mount Kenya region, scramble for the regions spokeperson is taking shape, as the speaker of National Assembly was recently installed by Njuri-Njeke as Mt Kenya spokesperson, whom he has been dismissed by the presidents inner circle.

With the current alliance termed sacred alliance of Kalonzo, Musalia, Wetangula and Gideon Moi which is seen a strategy to drop Raila Odinga out of the picture, it is seen as a way to weaken the handshake without the presidents knowledge.

While the National Assembly Majority leader, he has stated that the handshake is not about 2022 politics, it is seen as it might soon explode as everyone is pushing for their own desires .

The political tensions keep on rising with the heavyweights closely fighting for the most powerful seat in the land.

We as Kenyans have to stand together and reject any form of disintergration.
