Suba North Member of Parliament Hon John Mbadi who is also the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) chairman, has taken a swipe at Deputy President Dr William Ruto over his recent claim that the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga is a state sponsored presidential project ahead of 2022 general elections.
Speaking in a function in Homabay as qouted by Nation Media, Mbadi rubbished DP Ruto's claims that Raila is a state project to bring him down in next year's polls, saying that Raila started politics since he was at the age of 14 and he has been fighting for the rights of Kenyans since that time. He cannot therefore suddenly termed as a state project while he has not been like that before.
Mbadi added that if there's someone who is a project in upcoming 2022 general elections, then it is Deputy President Dr William Ruto himself. He is being sponsored by cartels who are known to be looting public resources and they want him to ascend to the top seat to continue protecting them.
That's why the second in command has not been heard even in a single meeting or interview talking about corruption and how he intends to fight and stop it. He is therefore the real project who is being funded by cartels to return back into the reign to continue defending them as they loot public resources.
