Indeed it emerged that majority of the attendees were for Kalonzo to reconsider his current political stand and rejoin Azimio Coalition after exploring any available conflict resolution mechanisms within the jumbo outfit.
Kalonzo had maintained that he would go all the way to the ballot thus thwarting any effort by Azimio to win him back. Monday's resolution by Wiper precipitated new hopes among Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition party Supporters who saw the move as a possible win for their presidential flagbearer, Raila Amolo Odinga.
But in what has emerged as a fresh setback to Azimio, another section of Wiper Party led by Matungulu MP Stephen Mule, is now clarrifying that Kalonzo's position has not changed and that the Wiper boss will run for Presidency as he had earlier affirmed.
Mule further went on to clarrify that Kalonzo's final decision will be known during a public rally he will convene as soon as he jets in from UK tour. What a fresh setback for Azimio.
