The Orange Democratic Movement has once again found itself complaining about intimidation from the police after it emerged that their agents and party officials were accosted police in their area of residence as they awaited the voting day today.
A statement from ODM Facebook Page
According to today Standard Newspaper, the battle for the Bonchari seat now brings together ODM leader Raila Odinga, Ruto linked UDA, and Jubilee which is believed to be represented by Fred Matiang’i. It is alleged that Fred Matiang’i is the person responsible for the woes that befell ODM last night.
This comes only a day Kisii governor Ongwae was also harassed by men in uniform who invaded his official residence a few days ago. The biggest question at the moment is how Raila Odinga who is closely associated with the head of state is being harassed in an election even with the close ties. Many have raised suspicions over the nature of the friendship of the two.
